Happy Holidays!

Since my last post was so self-pitying and depressing, I thought I'd cheer everyone up (including myself) with a little Christmas movie of my family. Unfortunately, my husband's audition didn't go too well due to excessive egg nog consumption, so he didn't make the cut. But all in all, I think Santa was pleased...

...Enjoy!! And have a wonderful, blessed holiday week!!

Lisa,
You are not depressing, you just had some difficult things to think about and sort out! We all have our days, weeks and sometimes years!
My dd and sil are not doing well. My good friend who had lost her job and had breast cancer last year-lost her job AGAIN and had another scare that she had breast cancer on the other side this year!
I'm sitting here sneezing and blowing my nose on my week off! Finally some alone time w/ hubby and I'm not fit for human interaction!
We all need a hug-last week was your turn my friend!
I'm off to Vegas and hope that you and your wonderful family have a very Merry Christmas!

Hmmmm, looks to me that your husband wasn't the only one to sample the egg nog.

This is the second Jib Jab movie I've seen recently. My son's business fraternity created one where my number two boy had a small part.

Glad your holiday was happy.

Dear Carine,

I hope you had a wonderful time in Vegas! I also hope your cold is gone! I swear by "Airborne", and they do make it without echinacea, so it would be safe for you to take...that stuff works like a charm for me as far as colds go!

I hope your friend is doing better. Breast cancer is one frightening thing. One of my good friends recently got diagnosed with a stage zero cancer in the breast that she already had cancer in five years ago, so she just went for a double mastectomy last week. She said there was no way she was going through all that chemo again, and they wouldn't be able to do radiation again on that breast. So she took them both out and got "nice new ones"...she's so positive, what an attitude...I try so hard to learn from her example.

Yes, I really needed a hug last week, you're right...I am feeling better. Surprisingly, because I usually get so down after the holidays...it was almost a relief that they were over! And obviously, my problems could be much worse. Have a happy New Year!

Take good care,
Lisa

Dear Big Dave,

No, I actually indulged in little to much vino on Christmas Eve...ha ha...

Actually, they did not have a Christmas video to make with six people, so my husband was in the first one we made called "Snowball Fight." In reality, he's not a big fan of eggnog...he's more of a martini man himself!

Hope your holidays were wonderful, and you have a fantastic New Year!

Take good care,
Lisa

Lisa,
I laughed so much. That video was so much fun...I had to copy it and make one of the grandkids and send it to family! You've always got great idea's. Last year it was a game...remember 'pin the name on a person'?
I hope to play it on New Years' Day.
I wish you a happy, healthy & prosperous New Year!
And a great big hug from me to you! Blog on!!

I'll have to mention the ufc thing to Matt, he'll be impressed :o)!
I made my layout using gimp. I purchased a digital scapbooking set online and then built the header with the backgrounds and other things provided. I finally finished working with it now and I am pretty happy with it!
Hope you are having a great Sunday! I'm sitting here checking blogs and snuggling little Iz. Fun stuff!
love,
Annie

Dear Betty,

I hope your cleaning went well! I don't enjoy it at all, being that the six of us use every square inch of this tiny abode, and three minutes after I clean it, it's messy again!

Hope your New Year got off to a great start!

Dear Matty,

I remember the game, which for some reason, we have not played in quite some time over here! I might have to start that up again! However, we did receive a special visit from "Santa and Bruno" this year, which was hilarious!

I hope your New Year is going well, and you and your family are feeling better!
